Operation Manual for the Mind by L. Ron Hubbard
By 1955, Phoenix, Arizona, home to the Hubbard Association of Scientologists International, was also home to a thriving community of Scientologists. L. Ron Hubbard had established Phoenix as his center of research and instruction in early 1953, and from that moment forward, Scientology growth in the area had been nonstop. Technical development had likewise progressed at a rapid pace.
In the five years since publication of Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health and its breakthroughs on the reactive mind, Ron had developed the subject to a panoramic understanding of the fundamental truths of life and the first practical technology of the human spirit.
How he had accomplished this feat is a matter of sheer marvel. That he accomplished it is a matter of plain fact—observable to anyone who studies Scientology. And in consequence, the question arises: In all history, how could no one in humankind have discovered these truths? Why have human beings never looked inside and solved the riddle of their most intimate companion—the human mind?
In response to that, we are proud to present a lecture in which Ron both asked and answered those pivotal questions: Operation Manual for the Mind.
