Miracles by L. Ron Hubbard
What is a miracle? Is it something only saints and holy men could do thousands of years ago?
In this lecture, one of his famous 1955 Wednesday evening public lectures, in Phoenix, Arizona, Ron brings a new viewpoint to the subject. He describes a world where even men of God were so apathetic on the subject of spiritual healing that a local Phoenix church cynically offered a reward for anyone who could produce evidence of a modern miracle.
That they received only one response to that appeal, and that response represented not one but hundreds of miracles, is only part of the larger story Ron presents here. For while the dictionary may define “miracle” as something “amazing, extraordinary or unexpected,” Ron shows here how routine miracles are at the command of every Scientologist.
